About the Role
  • This is a key position within our IT department responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise data solutions using AWS technologies such as Glue, Step-functions, RedShift, Lambda, Athena, Lakeformation, Spark, and Python.
  • The successful candidate will analyze, re-architect, and re-platform on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on AWS cloud, utilizing AWS and 3rd party services.
  • You will design, build, and support production data pipelines from ingestion to integration within a big data architecture, leveraging PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
  • Continual research of the latest big data and visualization technologies will provide new capabilities and increase efficiency.
  • Collaboration with other tech teams will involve implementing advanced analytics algorithms that exploit rich datasets for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering, and machine learning.
  • Improvement of ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers, is also part of your responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data practices and experience working with distributed systems, including data storage and computing, is essential.
