At Exceed Human Resource Consultants Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.



Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
  • Compilations and Preparations: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Asset Financing: Assist in the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities, and prepare financial models to support decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Cash Flows: Develop and manage budgets, and monitor cash flows to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
  • Creditor and Debtor Management: Manage our relationships with creditors and debtors, including negotiating payment terms and ensuring timely payments.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of audit files, including financial statements, ledgers, and other supporting documentation.
  • Statutory Submissions: Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE, VAT, and other tax-related submissions.


Requirements


  • Accounting Qualification: Hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Financial Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent People Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Be a team player, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Highly Numerate: Possess excellent numerical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare accurate financial reports.
  • Sound Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a timely and efficient manner.
