As a key member of our team at Exceed Human Resource Consultants Ltd, the Chief Financial Reporting Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. This senior accounting professional will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, including bookkeeping, debtors and creditors reconciliations, wages and salaries processing, journal entries, and compilation of financial statements for individuals, trusts, and companies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and submission of financial statements to SARS
  • Process payroll, including calculation of employee taxes and UIF contributions
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Compile IFRS SME financial statements for corporate clients
  • Complete VAT201, EMP201, EMP501, and ITR returns

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with further qualifications such as CA(SA) or SAIPA being highly advantageous. A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance/accounting is essential, with proficiency in Pastel Express/Partner, SAGE Online Accounting, Xero Accounting, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
