Key Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and advanced techniques to see your models used in real business applications.

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Identify and build appropriate models to predict risk, sales, and savings
  2. Presentation of data insights and model findings to stakeholders
  3. Mining and visualizing large datasets to inform product design, risk management, customer interaction strategies
  4. Model implementation and adoption
  5. Monitoring model performance and feedback for improvement
  6. Process and data collection improvements
  7. Running scientific experiments to evaluate different models
  8. Analytical work focused on customers, business, and staff

Requirements

  • Creative attitude to unearthing valuable insights and generating value for clients
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and see how analytics fits into the wider business context
  • Results-driven, curious, and able to work autonomously or within teams

Education and Experience

  • Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering fields
  • Ability to formulate problem statements, develop plans, and communicate findings verbally, visually, and in writing
  • Demonstrable working experience in analytics positions focusing on machine learning models
  • Experience accessing and analyzing data using Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of Gradient Boosting Machines, Random Forests, Neural Networks, or similar algorithms
  • Microsoft Office tools proficiency
