Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering and editing complex information from various internal and external sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of GLI products and services, database procedures, and certification letter folders
  • Update jurisdictional information in the database against certifications in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Create projects in the Submissions Database from requests received from various sources
  • Operate peripheral equipment and run verification programs to obtain a diverse collection of software signatures
  • Process draft and secondary portal reports, closing out files for withdrawal
  • Research daily database queries, correcting any errors or discrepancies
  • Assist in troubleshooting database-related issues by utilizing various GLI resources
  • Maintain a daily log of submittal/non-submittal mail received
  • Archive and retrieve media and hardware, as requested
  • Answer internal database-related questions, as needed

Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate is required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
  • High degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
