Boilermaker Technician

At Minexcel Holdings Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Boilermaker Mining professional to join our team.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers, pressure vessels, and other plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions to plant operations.
• Fabricate and install new components, utilizing welding and metalworking techniques.
• Organize and assemble boiler parts, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
• Clean and inspect pressure vessel equipment to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

• Proficiency in welding, metal fabrication, and the use of related tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to boiler construction and maintenance.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Stamina to perform physically demanding tasks over long periods.

• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program in boilermaking or a related field.
• Previous experience working as a boilermaker, especially in the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Work is typically performed at mining sites, which can be remote and involve exposure to outdoor elements and potentially hazardous conditions. May involve long hours, shift work, and overtime, depending on project deadlines and maintenance needs.
