At Stethoscope SA, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Dentist Practitioner to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring the maintenance of good oral hygiene and addressing both routine and complex dental issues.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, patient care, and adherence to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive oral examinations, including dental charting and radiographic imaging (Xrays).
- Diagnosing dental conditions such as tooth decay, gum disease, infections, malocclusions, and oral cancers.
- Developing and explaining treatment plans tailored to the patient's needs.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to provide preventive dental care, restore teeth affected by decay or trauma, perform endodontic procedures, and offer nonsurgical and surgical treatment options for gum diseases.
We require a dentist with a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care, a positive attitude, and a focus on continuous professional development.
