About the Role

This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, install and maintain complex mechanical systems, including ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  2. Identify maintenance risks on equipment and take corrective action.
  3. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  4. Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
  5. Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff members.
  6. Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  7. Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  8. Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
  9. Perform repairs where possible, whether electrical or otherwise.
  10. Implement preventative maintenance when necessary.
