Job Title: Procurement Manager

Kerston Foods CC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure effective supply chain management.
  • Manage procurement planning and implementation to optimize procurement value contribution to operational and business success.
  • Develop and align procurement systems to business and operational products/supply demands.
  • Manage orders and supply sufficiency to ensure effective/expedient sourcing to meet orders.
  • Develop and manage the supplier network to enable effective sourcing, availability, and cost of products required.
  • Integrate procurement with sales, warehousing, and distribution to optimize KF supply chain effectiveness contributions by procurement.
  • Develop and agree on cost and margins indicators of procurement and align staff and processes to optimize value contribution of procurement to overall KF business success.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Business acumen/understanding how hospitality businesses work and grow.
  • Knowledge of supply chain in hospitality.
  • Highly computer literate with good numeric skills.
  • Solid insight in statistical tools in forecasting and analysis.
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and work on own initiative.
  • Detail-oriented, and systematic, yet able to delegate well.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
