We're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Capitec Bank. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced security solutions to safeguard our systems and data from evolving cyber threats.

Your responsibilities will include evaluating current architectures, identifying vulnerabilities, and crafting robust defenses, particularly in multi-cloud environments. You will consult, design, and implement robust security solutions that address current and emerging threats, ensuring Capitec systems and data are secure, compliant with industry standards, and resilient against cyberattacks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current architectures and identify vulnerabilities
  • Design and implement robust security solutions
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in any cybersecurity role
  • 3+ years in a cybersecurity architecture position
  • Understanding core principles like confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  • Knowledge of network topologies, cloud infrastructures, software architecture, data flow, and system design
