Key Responsibilities

This role involves identifying training needs, consolidating data, and delivering training sessions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in content development, LMS administration, vendor management, and stakeholder management.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Identifying Training Needs: Analyze training needs through organizational goals, performance gaps, and employee skills.
  2. Consolidating Data: Consolidate data for different reasons and activities.
  3. Work with the L&D Lead to decide on courses to be assigned to employees and source training content or training providers as necessary.
  4. Delivering Training Sessions: Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques, such as face-to-face, group discussions, role-playing, and observation.
  5. Evaluating Training Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance improvement metrics, and other evaluation methods.
  6. Provide feedback to the business on return on investment.
  7. Continuously Improving Training: Conduct annual updates and refine training materials and methods based on feedback, changing business needs, and industry best practices.
  8. Utilize learning management systems platforms for online learning and virtual classrooms to deliver training efficiently.
  9. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Coordinate with subject matter experts, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational objectives.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Consolidate all regulatory compliance in preparation for the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.
  11. Monitor if all training champions submit their reports.
  12. Onboarding and Employee Development: Design and implement onboarding programs for new hires and create individualized employee development plans based on career aspirations and organizational goals.
  13. Global Learning Trends: Stay updated on global learning trends to introduce innovative and effective training strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  2. ODETD NQF 6 Qualification (advantageous).
  3. Minimum 1 year in training program design: extensive experience in content development and LMS administration.
  4. Vendor management.
  5. Stakeholder management.
