Job Title: Senior PowerApps Developer

At HR Genie, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior PowerApps Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Power Platform Team, you will be responsible for delivering services and solutions for our customers using the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, including MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate, MS Power, MS Teams, CDS, and Dynamics 365. You will be responsible for helping our clients effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform with best practices and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  2. Lead client discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, documentation, and the development of solutions.
  3. Ability to understand and explain the business drivers that apply to a specific client's needs.
  4. Ability to build compliant components based on an established design.
  5. Work in an agile environment and participate in all agile ceremonies.
  6. Write, test, and document application components to successfully deliver project-based work.
  7. Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards and trends.
  8. Work directly with clients to support various projects and solutions.
  9. Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas-driven apps.
  10. Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  11. Installation and configuration of data gateways.
  12. Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.
  13. Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  14. Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  15. Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  16. Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.
  17. Multi-task effectively between projects.
  18. Proficient working in Agile project methodologies.
  19. Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
  20. Interpret and design database models (MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  21. Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
  22. Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
  23. Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.
  24. Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
  25. Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate, MS Power, MS Teams, CDS, and Dynamics 365.
  2. Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.
  3. Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming.
  4. Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.
  5. Experience developing PowerApps model.
  6. Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Power Automate.
  7. A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
  8. Proficient creating PowerShell scripts.
  9. Knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dynamics licensing plans and features included in different plans.
