Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain plant availability by performing routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
• Evaluate breakdowns, repair or call relevant personnel to minimize downtime due to machine malfunctions.
• Implement alterations, modifications, and installations of equipment to ensure continuous operation within the production line.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, variable speed drives, AC & DC motors, and HT & LT transformers would be beneficial.
• Utilize mechanical measuring equipment and electrical test equipment for maintenance purposes.
• Perform emergency procedures such as switching standby alternators and restoring power in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular plant inspections and maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to safety standards to minimize risks.
