This is a highly skilled position that requires the ability to execute workshop and plant activities towards the establishment and maintenance of pilot plants, laboratory apparatus, and client products.

The ideal candidate will have a trade certificate as a Fitter and Turner and at least 3 years of industry experience in a workshop or field/project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, modify, and erect pilot plants/laboratory apparatus/client products or parts thereof as per detailed engineering drawings.
• Provide fitting and machining skills support during commissioning of test facilities or client products in accordance with project or task.
• Test individual components or plant as per prescribed procedures to ensure that the overall plant function is achieved.
• Execute quality control plant as per task and standards applicable to the task at hand – e.g. machining to close tolerances.
