MedE Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team

We are a Medical Consumables and Manufacturing company looking for an experienced Accounting Professional to manage our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creditors Management: Efficient handling of accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Debtors Management: Overseeing accounts receivable, managing cash flow and forecasting.
  • Financial Statements: Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • VAT: Managing VAT returns and compliance, ensuring accurate calculations and reporting.
  • Costing: Accurate cost calculations and reporting, assisting in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Stock Take: Regular stock audits and management, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Payee Management: Ensuring timely payments to vendors, managing cash flow and forecasting.
  • Budgets: Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring accurate financial planning.
  • Cash Flow Management: Overseeing and forecasting cash flow, ensuring timely payments and managing cash reserves.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance: Relevant qualification from a recognised institution, preferably with a focus on accounting and finance.
  • Certification: Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CIMA) is preferred, demonstrating expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
  • General Admin: Proficiency in general administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with experience in financial management and accounting systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
