Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing feedback to management regarding stock issues and movements, ensuring sales targets are met, and managing the receiving and dispatching of stock. They will also facilitate efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floor, maintain neatness and housekeeping standards, and manage shrinkage in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely feedback to management on stock movements and issues
  • Drive sales growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
  • Coordinate the receiving and dispatching of stock
  • Facilitate smooth stock rotations between the stockroom and sales floor
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent, at least 1 year of retail experience, and 2 years of stockroom experience (advantageous). A hospitality background is also beneficial. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to give direction to the stockroom team.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
