About the Role

AGC Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Advisor to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-value legal cases across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Case Origination and Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive assessments of the merits of each case, evaluating their potential for success and overall strategic fit.
  2. Financial Analysis: Analyse the financial aspects of investment opportunities, including funding requirements, investment stages, expected returns, and associated risks.
  3. Negotiation and Case Management: Lead negotiations with external parties, including law firms and stakeholders, to secure favourable economic terms and optimise investment structures. Oversee the management of approved investments, coordinating with claimants, legal teams, experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case progression.
  4. Financial Monitoring and Risk Management: Monitor and manage the financial aspects of each case, ensuring adherence to the initial investment plan and addressing any deviations.
  5. Dispute Resolution Strategies: Explore and implement strategies for early case resolution and alternative dispute resolution to minimize litigation duration and costs.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.
  2. 6-8 years of experience in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, or related field.
  3. Proven track record in assessing litigation cases and probability of success.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial and legal scenarios.
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
  6. Detail-oriented with a robust capability to manage multiple high-value cases simultaneously.
  7. In-depth knowledge of legal and financial principles.
