About the Job


As a junior draughtsman at Marcopolo South Africa, you will be responsible for various tasks that require technical knowledge and CAD software skills.


Key Responsibilities



  • Document, classify, and register projects using graphic software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established routines.
  • Apply technical information necessary for project execution, maintaining high standards and quality.
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on drawings and system tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply relevant information to projects, including standards and pre-defined concepts to ensure compliance.
  • Support the production line, logistics, and purchase departments as needed to execute tasks correctly.
  • Guide team members to execute projects correctly, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Program CNC machines to optimize production and quality.
  • Guide the product's technical configurator to maintain the accuracy of the BOM, requesting inclusion or exclusion of part numbers.

Requirements



  • Grade 12/N3 with technical drawing.
  • Associates Drafting and Design Certificate (added advantage).
  • CAD/SolidWorks software knowledge.
  • CAD/CAM Nesting Software knowledge.
