A reputable auto electrical and mechanical workshop with a strong track record of quality and reliability is seeking a strong Workshop Manager to lead and mentor the team. In this role, technical skills, combined with the ability to manage people and handle the administrative side of things, will be key in driving the workshop's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians
  • Manage the administrative side of the workshop, including invoicing and sourcing parts
  • Ensure the workshop maintains a high level of quality and reliability
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues and improve diagnostic skills
Requirements:
  • Motor Mechanics Certificate (Diesel)
  • A valid Drivers License
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a leadership position within a reputable mechanical workshop
  • Diagnostic, air-con repair, and auto electrics experience
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both written and verbal)
  • Admin-orientated
  • A stable track record
  • Reliable and contactable references
