Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Preparation: Set up and prepare extrusion equipment for customer training, trials, site installation, and commissioning.
  • Laboratory Operations: Operate various lab equipment and maintain necessary supplies, ensuring high-quality product samples.
  • Research and Development: Conduct extrusion trial runs at exhibitions and conferences, test products, compounds or batches in a laboratory setting, perform analyses, and comparisons of results to contribute to technical innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification: Consumer Science, Food Technology, Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience with extruder machines and/or related equipment, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Skillset: Computer knowledge (MS Office), time management, organizational skills, file management, transcription, and administrative procedures, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
