Law Professor for IIE MSA and Varsity College

We are seeking a qualified Lecturer in Law to join our team at the Institute of International Education (IIE) MSA and Varsity College.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to teach law programmes across various modes of delivery, including online and on-campus classes.
- The Lecturer will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching materials, marking assessments, and providing feedback to students.
About You:
- You must have a minimum of a LLM degree and preferably an admitted attorney/advocate or possess any relevant legal professional title.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of lecturing experience in law qualifications is required, as well as a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lecture on law programmes, developing and delivering high-quality teaching materials.
- Marking of assessments and providing feedback to students.
- Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures.
- Champion academic development and support for students.
- Promote a culture of scholarship within the practice, discipline, and campus/team.
Competencies Required:
- Superior communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively.
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching in subject area based on reflective practice.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to manage relationships with managers and staff effectively in terms of motivation, quality, and performance.
- Passion for customer service.
- Experience in the use of technology to enhance learning is an added advantage.
- Must display teamwork skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and conduct themselves with honesty and integrity.
Salary Range: R600,000 - R900,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This estimate is based on the location and job requirements.
