Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the mechanical maintenance activities of the plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to maintain operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to achieve exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • N2 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
  • Valid Trade Test Certificate
  • Mechanical Foreman's Certificate
  • 5 years' mining experience in plant sections
  • Fitter and Turner experience (preferred)
  • Valid Drivers' License
