We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Payroll Administrator.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of payroll procedures, including weekly and monthly payrolls for various client organisations. They will be responsible for liaising with clients, overseeing a portfolio of clients, and reporting to the manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process weekly and monthly payrolls for a variety of client organisations.
  2. Liaise with clients to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages.
  3. Oversee a portfolio of clients and report to the manager on any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in payroll administration, preferably using Sage Payroll, Word, and Excel.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  5. Familiarity with auto-enrolment, redundancy, benefits-in-kind, and year-end payroll procedures is desirable.
  6. A working knowledge of basic bookkeeping would be an advantage.
