Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Conova Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring timely information delivery and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis.
  • Financial Planning: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making, providing insights on financial trends, forecasts, and cash flow management.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and collaboration, and coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards, and identify financial risks to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure operational liquidity, overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information and performance metrics to the Financial Director, preparing various reports as required.
  • System Implementation: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems, enhancing financial processes through automation and technology.
  • Audits: Prepare audit packs and liaison with auditors regarding audit queries, and assist with the preparation of all file requirements for BBBEE audit, gathering of invoices, documentation, and assistance during the audit.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or studying towards a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in people management.
  • Minimum 5 years Accounting experience.
