Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade database environments to meet business requirements.

  • Implement mirroring and Always On Availability Groups to ensure business continuity.
  • Perform deployments in accordance with change control methodologies.
  • Respond to customer requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and operating procedures.
  • Manage database backups and recovery processes.
  • Proactively monitor the database environment to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with database-related errors and performance issues.
  • Identify and recommend changes to improve query performance.

Requirements

  • Microsoft certification in SQL Server.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a MS SQL Server DBA, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Operating System.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server 2016 and 2019.
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
  • Strong technical and SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
  • Azure knowledge and experience.
  • Proactive and team-oriented individual with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to gather information, analyze problems, and plan and organize solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
