**Equipment Maintenance Coordinator**

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance activities for production equipment and services, with a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute maintenance schedules for production equipment and services (electrical and mechanical).
  • Conduct regular inspections of stock levels for spare parts and materials, and ensure timely ordering.
  • Identify and analyze reasons for machine downtime, implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to identify trends in breakdowns and expenditure, recommending improvements.
  • Respond to daily emergencies and urgent work requests, prioritizing tasks accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S System and safe working standards at all times.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant Quality Assurance and Safety Standards.

Requirements:

  • N4 in Electrical Engineering/Millwright or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics.
  • Red Seal certification mandatory for Millwright/Electrician.
  • Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with Injection Molding Machines (Engel) and ABB Robots an added advantage.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn fast and be independent.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
