Job Description

  • Validate and Approve Proposals: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for validating and approving proposals on a daily basis, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Manage Documents and Trackers: The successful applicant will manage all documents and trackers related to application engineering activities, guaranteeing seamless communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Compile Induction/Training Plans: We need someone who can compile comprehensive induction/training plans for new engineers within the Technical Sales Department, including generating documents and presentations for technical and departmental training.
  • Manage Departmental Assets: Our Senior Application Engineer will be responsible for managing all departmental assets, procuring tools, and conducting weekly/monthly checks on company vehicles.
  • Provide Feedback and Warranty Claims: This role requires someone who can provide two weekly feedback reports on trials, including writing trial reports for management. Additionally, the successful applicant will facilitate and own the warranty claim process, investigating with the appropriate application engineer.
  • On-Site Support: We need someone who can join application engineers and sales reps on-site 2-3 days a week to assist with problematic applications and/or poor pump performance.
  • Lead and Guide Engineers: The successful applicant will guide and lead application engineers in all site activities, driving improvements and improvement projects within application engineering.
  • Report and Recruitment: Our Senior Application Engineer will report back to the Sales HOD on the status of current improvement projects or the initiation of possible new improvements. They will also be responsible for shortlisting, interviewing, and appointing new application engineers.
