About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Fund Accountant to join our growing private markets team. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational platform of our private market funds. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with portfolio managers, investment directors, and principals to ensure the accurate calculation and allocation of interest, fees, and capital repayments.
  • Oversight of all functions performed by our outsourced third-party administrators, including monitoring and measurement of their services.
  • Developing solutions and efficiencies to address challenges and queries encountered in your day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 2-3 years accounting experience in the financial services industry.
  • Previous asset management, private funds, or fund administration experience is highly desirable.
