About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert cost management services to our clients in the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost estimation strategies for projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies to identify potential cost savings
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Measure and quantify construction projects using specialized software
  • Produce detailed Bills of Quantities for construction projects
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress certificates to clients
  • Manage and control project costs to ensure profitability
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years focused on the mining sector
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in WinQS and DimensionX software
  • Ability to measure and quantify construction projects, particularly in the mining sector
