Edward Snell & Co. is a leading organization seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team in the KZN Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive brand performance by channel and outlet
  2. Elevate volume as a key driver of all activities
  3. Identify availability and volume opportunities
  4. Achieve availability, volume, and regional market share targets
  5. Lead the Informal Market team's management and development
  6. Ensure the Informal Market team lives our core values and contributes to achieving strategic priorities
  7. Implement national promotions correctly
  8. Design innovative regional promotions
  9. Maintain adherence to ES&Co promotional standards
  10. Optimize return on investment of promotions
  11. Verify discounts offered fall within quality discount parameters
  12. Communicate credit risks and irregularities in trade to the regional General Manager
  13. Compile weekly and monthly reports

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric certificate
  2. Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Sales and Marketing/Business or equivalent advantageous
  3. At least six years in FMCG sales role (liquor spirits advantageous)
  4. At least three years in Sales Management role
  5. Proven track record in sales industry

  1. Demonstrated ability to professionally develop, coach, and motivate teams
  2. Focused goal-driven individual
  3. Excellent communication skills required
  4. Ability to build positive working relationships
  5. Assertiveness essential
  6. Good sales track record necessary
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office expected
  8. Relevant experience in informal market environment valuable
  9. Self-motivated and results-driven individual ideal
