Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Vito Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. As a key player in this role, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise to drive innovative solutions and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to the product team, helping to resolve technical and application-related challenges.
  • Design solutions and database schemas, developing high-level solutions and creating software that aligns with business requirements.
  • Create and manage PL/SQL or SQL applications, building, maintaining, and enhancing PL/SQL or SQL scripts and applications to deliver reliable software solutions.
  • Oversee the full SDLC implementation, managing and ensuring the successful delivery of all stages within the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Support business users and PIT teams, addressing daily inquiries and providing frontline support and on-call assistance when necessary.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication across all organisational levels, from junior staff to senior leadership.
  • Develop complex technical specifications and programs, independently creating advanced technical specifications and detailed programs.
  • Assist the team with technical issues, supporting the team in troubleshooting and resolving application or technical challenges as they occur.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level technical skills in application programming, system design, and methods for data update, storage, and retrieval.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills for defining project requirements.
  • Skilled in application design with the capability to mentor junior team members.
  • Analytical thinker with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • High aptitude for mathematics and numerical analysis.
  • Ability to play a key technical role within the team.
  • Consistently delivers top-quality work.
  • Positive and proactive with strong self-management and self-motivation abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail with the capability to follow guidelines, maintain standards, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Qualifications:
  • Matric Certificate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in PL/SQL or SQL.
