About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at Personnel Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Position: Forklift Mechanic – Engineering Department.
Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of R190/hour, plus Medical Aid and Pension. Overtime is paid in line with MIBCO and may be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on forklifts.
  • Conducting daily checks on all forklifts.
  • Reporting major breakdowns to management and external parties.
  • Providing weekly reports on forklift performance.
  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers prior to work being done.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensuring compliance with OHS regulations.
