Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting space planning to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments
  2. Developing architectural and construction drawings to bring designs to life
  3. Designing interior spaces that exceed client expectations
  4. Selecting and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that enhance the overall design
  5. Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  6. Conceptualizing design elements that meet client objectives
  7. Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
Requirements
  • Experience in space planning and architecture
  • Proficiency in creating construction drawings using industry-standard software
  • Strong background in interior design, including FF&E selection and coordination
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail sector is highly desirable
