The Legends Agency is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Administrator to join their team.

Job Overview

This role involves managing out-of-hospital dental authorizations, handling enquiries, and providing timely feedback to improve operational efficiency and ensure an optimal member experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental administration, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of dental coding and member support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Authorization Management: Assist with out-of-hospital dental authorizations and approvals.
  • Enquiry Handling: Handle enquiries and provide detailed and accurate feedback to members.
  • Information Gathering: Gather and analyze information to ensure smooth administrative processes.
  • Communication Standards: Maintain high standards of communication, both written and verbal.
  • Member Experience: Promote an optimal member experience by addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Education: A Grade 12 certificate and a Diploma in an accredited Oral Hygienist program are required. Active registration with the HPCSA as an Oral Hygienist is also necessary.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a dental administrative role, with proven experience in dental coding and out-of-hospital dental processes.
  • Skills: Human relations and interpersonal skills, administrative efficiency and organizational abilities, strong problem-solving and information-gathering skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
