At Tumaini Consulting, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading on-site operations, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

About the Role:
  • To oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications.
  • To ensure that all construction activities comply with regulations and safety standards.
  • To provide technical guidance and support to the construction team.
  • To address and resolve any on-site technical issues or challenges that arise.
  • To act as the primary point of contact between the construction site and the project management team.
  • To keep detailed records of construction activities, progress and any issues encountered.
  • To prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working on civil infrastructure projects (water, sanitation, roads).
  • Registered as a Candidate or Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA.
  • Proficient in project management software.
