We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team at FNB Namibia. As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for building and implementing innovative quantitative analytical methodologies, procedures, and advanced mathematical models that provide analytical support and insights to address business opportunities and problems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, or computer science, with excellent coding skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL. You will work closely with various departments across the business to aid them in the proper use of data to ensure delivery of desired operational results.
In this role, you will participate in production of analytics by translating technical data information into practical business information that addresses identified needs. You will also collaborate with other teams to establish a learning and growth culture where information is actively shared.
- Develop and apply analytical models and methods to build, test, and implement analytical solutions that address business problems, opportunities, and improve business outcomes.
- Analyse information requirements, availability, and quality of data to feed into management for resolution.
- Collaborate with numerous departments across the business to aid them in the proper use of data to ensure delivery of desired operational results.
