Job Description

Mulilo is seeking an experienced Project Quality Coordinator to oversee daily quality management activities on renewable energy project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and driving quality assurance and control at the project level.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Execute daily quality assurance and control activities for ongoing projects, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
  2. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed quality standards.
  3. Monitor and document quality performance across all project phases.
  4. Support the implementation of the QMS on project sites.
  5. Assist in the development and execution of quality plans and procedures.
  6. Conduct site-level quality audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement.
  7. Maintain quality records and ensure proper reporting to the Quality Manager.
  8. Facilitate resolution of non-conformances and track corrective actions.
  9. Ensure proper inspection of materials, equipment, and completed work.
  10. Act as a key point of contact for site-level quality issues and escalate major concerns to the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience preferably in renewable energy or construction.
  3. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and Construction Quality.
  4. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  5. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
