Trail Ranger

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Trail Ranger to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality.

About the Role:

• This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trails guide to lead groups on guided hikes and adventures in the beautiful wilderness area.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest service, safety, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Led trail walks/hikes and participate in other outdoor activities with guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience.
2. Maintain knowledge of trails, fauna, flora, and wildlife, sharing this knowledge with guests.
3. Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are maintained in good working condition and follow company policies and procedures.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and create a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• FGASA 2/NQF 4 or Professional Trails qualification
• Trails or VPDA
• Should have ARH & rifle accreditations
• Must have a valid drivers license and PrDP
• Should be NDT Registered
• Must have a valid First Aid Certificate
• Should be a South African citizen
• Must have excellent guest relations skills and be confident when hosting guests
• Highly presentable
• Must have a passion for conservation, nature, animals and the environment
• Must have basic computer skills
• Should have excellent attention to detail
• Must have a good command of the English language
