Key Responsibilities

  • Provide complete clerical assistance to Managers for the maintenance of client relationships and solid investment decisions and returns.
  • Schedule appointments, follow up meetings and internal appointments. Prepare documentation for the meetings.
  • Loading new clients on systems and requesting necessary documentation.
  • Typing agendas and minutes of meetings. Monitoring actions that need to be taken on conclusion of meetings.
  • Generating, editing, printing, scanning and posting quarterly reports.
  • Filing and scanning all documentation.
  • Completing forms and submitting and tracking instructions submitted to operations.
  • Handling queries from Operations and Managers.
  • Completing relevant tasks.
  • Updating FICA and FAIS constantly.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding the status of instructions.
  • Sending out client correspondence for special occasions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Assistant in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • General knowledge of financial markets.
  • Client and service orientated.
  • High level of accountability and responsibility.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Affable character.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Mature.
  • Intellectually honest.
