Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Panel Supervisor to join our team at People Dimension. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical panel building and wiring projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion of electrical panel building and wiring projects.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, quality assurance, and sales, to align project objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Team Supervision
    • Lead and manage a team of skilled technicians and electricians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
    • Assign tasks and projects based on individual skills and project requirements, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all electrical panels are built and wired according to technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
    • Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of work, identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
  • Safety Management
    • Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
    • Develop and implement safety training programs, conducting regular safety briefings and toolbox talks to educate team members on potential hazards and risks.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical expertise and support during the design and assembly of electrical panels, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
    • Assist in the development of wiring diagrams, layout plans, and schematics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Resource Management
    • Monitor the use of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good condition, and that inventory levels are optimized.
    • Coordinate with procurement to order necessary materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of work orders, build-up progress, and materials used, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
    • Prepare regular reports on project status, team performance, and any issues encountered, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of project requirements and progress, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
    • Attend meetings and provide updates on the status of ongoing projects, addressing any issues or concerns raised by clients or team members.
  • Training and Development
    • Identify training needs within the team and arrange for appropriate training sessions, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
    • Mentor junior technicians and support their professional development, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure that all work complies with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure that the team is informed and compliant, conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
