Restaurant Host

• About the Role:
  Fancourt, a premier golfing and leisure destination, seeks a skilled Hostess (Restaurant) to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Fancourt, situated in George, South Africa, is renowned for its world-class hospitality standards. We are now accepting applications for a Hostess (Restaurant) who embodies drive, passion, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills, ensuring a friendly and guest-centric approach. A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, along with 1 year of experience as a Waitron or Hostess in a 4* or 5* establishment, is required. Additionally, an F&B hospitality certificate and knowledge of Micros and Guest Connect are advantageous.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Warmly welcome all guests on arrival;
• Manage bookings and table plans, accommodating special seating requests;
• Accurately record reservations;
• Cash up and banking.

We are seeking candidates with their own accommodation in George/surrounds, who are prepared to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts. The successful candidate must be fit and able to carry out the normal responsibilities attached to this role.
