We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer to join our team at Badrutt's Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our human resources function, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, and managing training and development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of training and development initiatives.
- Assisting the Chief Executive Officer to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements such as Employment Equity, WSP, etc.
- Management of training and development programs and initiatives.
- Drafting of policies, procedures, and processes.
- Report writing.
- Union/staff representative liaison.
- Participation in Employment Equity Committee meetings and drafting of Employment Equity goals and targets.
- Recruitment and selection.
- Formulation of job profiles with KPIs.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 6 years' experience within the Human Resource environment, with a minimum of 4 years HR Generalist experience, of which 2 years must be in a senior HR Officer role.
- Tertiary qualification (degree level) in Human Resources.
- Strong experience in IR and performance management systems.
- Self-starter and thinker with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and professionally assertive.
- Ability to communicate and manage HR/IR day-to-day issues within the Group.
- Union/Employee Representative interaction.
- Knowledge of the Motor Industry will be an added advantage.
Computer Literacy: Advanced Office / Excel / PowerPoint / SAGE People would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- IR Management.
- Experience and understanding of payroll processes.
- Experience and understanding of Bargaining Council structure and agreements.
