Job Overview

Ampath Laboratories is seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team in eMalahleni. This is a full-time position that requires the collection of non-blood and blood specimens for medical pathology analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relations: Maintain good relationships with clients and promote the image of Ampath Laboratories.
  2. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to facilitate payment collection for phlebotomy services.
  3. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks to ensure accurate recording and processing of information.
  4. Phlebotomy Procedures: Perform phlebotomy procedures to deliver high-quality care centre services.
  5. Safety and Quality Control: Ensure safety and quality control standards are upheld.

Requirements

  • HPCSA/SANC Registration: Relevant registration is required.
  • Relevant Qualification: A relevant Phlebotomy or Nursing qualification is essential.
  • Experience: Experience as a Phlebotomist or similar role within a pathology or hospital environment is necessary.
