Description of the Role and Purpose:

As a Manager: Fraud Risk Management, you will be responsible for managing fraud risk management engagements with efficiency and technical competence. Your primary role will be to oversee project management of fraud risk management assignments, manage teams, draft fraud risk management reports, and conduct project planning and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the completion of fraud risk management assignments.

• Team Management: Manage and lead teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

• Report Writing: Draft and present comprehensive fraud risk management reports to stakeholders.

• Project Planning: Plan and administer fraud risk management projects from inception to completion.

Skills and Attributes Required:

• Effective Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet project deadlines and objectives.

• Excellent Communication: Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including stakeholders, team members, and clients.

• Strategic Thinking: Think critically and develop strategic solutions to complex fraud risk management problems.

• Digital Mindset: Utilize technology to enhance project management and risk assessment processes.

• Conflict Management: Manage conflicts and difficult situations effectively, ensuring project continuity and success.

• Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a field related to fraud risk management or a related field.

• Experience: Possess 5-7 years' experience in a management role within fraud risk management, with at least 3 years' exposure in a consulting environment.

• Professional Membership: Hold relevant professional membership, such as CFE or (FP)SA.

• Post-Graduate Degree: Possess a post-graduate degree in a related field, which is an advantage.

• Proficient in MS Office: Be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence and be willing to travel as needed.

Experience and Competencies:

• Deep Technical Understanding: Possess a deep technical understanding of fraud risk management, including prevention, detection, and response strategies.

• Fraud Laws and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with fraud, anti-bribery, and corruption laws, regulations, and frameworks.

• Policy Drafting: Develop and review policies and strategies for fraud risk management.

• Ethics and Standards: Understand and apply ethics and ethical standards in fraud risk management practices.

• Risk Assessments: Conduct fraud risk assessments and implement relevant fraud risk management practices.
