As a key member of our clinical research team at ICON, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with experts in the field. Your role as a Lead Biostatistician will involve providing statistical expertise to support the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study Statistician Role: You will be responsible for performing statistical analysis tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong statistical expertise and knowledge of complex design of experiments and inference methodologies.
  • Matrix Team Meetings: You will actively participate in matrix team meetings and contribute to the development of statistical strategies at a study-level, which may be shared with stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: You will ensure that deliverables are accurate, high-quality, and met according to agreed timelines, applying standard processes to tasks.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in statistics or biostatistics is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of biostatistical experience and clinical experience.
  • Statistical Expertise: You should exhibit expertise in multiple statistical areas, the drug development process, SAS procedures, and good programming practices.
  • CDISC Standards: Knowledge of and experience with CDISC standards is desired, as well as ICH-GCP and other applicable legislation.
