Job Title: Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of multi-discipline solutions, seeks a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As an essential member of the operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all air conditioning and refrigeration systems, providing exceptional service to industrial and commercial clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer relations skills, with the ability to professionally interact with clients. They must also be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete regular maintenance tasks on air conditioning and refrigeration units (HVAC), including inspections, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  • Attend to emergency call-outs and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Commission new equipment and plant, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Develop and complete tasks according to company SHEQ and ISO standards.
  • Document and report all site visits and work performed.

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate in Refrigeration Mechanic (Industrial)
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent technical N3 level
  • Valid Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC and/or Refrigeration
  • A valid Code 08 driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
