Job Description:

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Forklifts Safely: You will operate forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, adhering to strict safety standards and protocols.
  • Manage Inventory: You will utilize warehouse management systems and handheld devices to accurately manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: You will contribute to maintaining a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards, reporting incidents, and participating in regular safety inspections.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A valid forklift operator's license/certification is essential.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
  • You must have a clear criminal record.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a similar environment is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, stacking, and material handling processes, is required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld devices is preferred.
  • You should possess physical stamina, enabling you to perform repetitive tasks, lifting, bending, and operating forklift controls safely.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and inventory management are crucial.
