About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Opex Reporting Specialist to join our team as an 8-month contract.

The main purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis and cost reporting for the Cape Town Refinery as part of the Finance Team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and cost reporting for the Cape Town Refinery.
  2. Accruals Management: Manage accruals, ensure timely completion of account reconciliations, and coordinate with BU contacts.
  3. Cost Reporting: Produce monthly cost reports, coordinate cost review meetings, and leverage financial acumen to influence business decision-making.
  4. Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis of actual vs budget on operating expenses and provide explanations for variances.
  5. Rolling Forecast: Coordinate monthly 24-month rolling forecast for refinery opex and annual opex business planning.
  6. Financial Reports: Prepare and present divisional opex financial reports and variance explanations.
