Operational Logistics Coordinator

At West Coast Personnel, we are seeking a highly skilled Operational Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operational activities of our Depot.

The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in Logistics or a similar field and 3-5 years of related experience in fuel depot and fuel tanker maintenance. They must also possess computer literacy, a valid code EB license, and be able to work irregular hours based on changing fuel supply and demand conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Depot and Road Tanker Security and Safety: Ensure the safe operation and security of our depot and road tankers.
• Road Tanker and Static Storage Capacity Optimisation: Maximize the efficiency of our road tankers and static storage capacity.
• Management of Stock and Depot Assets: Oversee the management of stock and depot assets, ensuring they are utilized effectively.
• Environmental Management Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Safe Handling and Storing of Fuel (Hazardous Material): Safely handle and store hazardous materials, adhering to relevant regulations.
• Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Fuel Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to market our fuel services effectively.
• Statutory, Financial, and Administrative Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory, financial, and administrative requirements.
• Maintain Internal and External Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize Networks for New Business Opportunities: Leverage professional networks to identify new business opportunities.
