**Job Purpose:** The primary objective of this role is to deliver effective teaching and facilitation on qualifications and all associated academic activities, such as student engagement and support, to promote student success and learning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Facilitate lectures and teaching sessions
  • Mark and assess student work
  • Provide student support and guidance

**Required Competencies:**

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Ideal Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with Honours degree

**Alternatively:**

  • Honours degree in the language to be lectured or another Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours or Postgraduate Diploma (at NQF level 8)

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements:**

  • Prior industry experience in commerce would be beneficial
  • Lecturing and work experience in the language to be lectured would be advantageous

**Working Conditions:**

  • This is an independent contractor role
